Meet Lynae Cheeks, FNP-C
Family NURSE practitioner
Nancy “Lynae” Cheeks is a lifelong resident of Hayesville, North Carolina. Lynae received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN) from Tri-County Community College in 2003. She then obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Western Carolina University and a Master’s Degree in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY.
Hometown Healthcare started as a dream and with the help of the Lord, it has become a reality. Our goal is to provide healthcare to the community while promoting the "hometown" environment where everyone feels like family.

Lynae is happily married and has two wonderful children. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, singing, playing the piano and being active in her church.
Meet Callie Gordon, FNP
Family NURSE practitioner
Catherine Doan Gordon (Callie) grew up in Hayesville, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Western Carolina University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree through the Honor’s College with Magna Cum Laude in 2007. She then attended North Georgia College and State University where she achieved her Master’s of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner degree with High Honor’s in 2010.
Prior to her training as a FNP, Callie worked as a perioperative nurse at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and an operating room technician at both Northside and Murphy Medical Center.
Callie lives in Hayesville, NC with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, Callie enjoys reading, running, hiking (especially at national parks) and spending time with her family.
